back in l.a.

It's nice to be back in Los Angeles. And what better way to commemorate my return then to take a walk through hollywood, check out the new FAMIMA!! convenience store chain from Japan, cruise to the Hollywood Bowl for the Massive Attack concert, grab a bacon wrapped hotdog, and take in some street performers. Being in Brazil for the past two months has motivated me to look at the city through the eyes of a tourist, discovering new things each day. So, I'm now thinking that this blog will become more of reflection of that, which is also a way to keep my friends and family abroad up to speed on what I'm doing, and to dispell the myths that L.A. is just a massive, sprawling, metropolis, with nothing more to offer than traffic, the Hollywood Sign, and enormous portions of food.
